Chapter Quidelines

The
mission of this chapter is Fun,
Friendship, & Frivolity!
Membership is open to all women
regardless of age, but at the ultimate discretion of the Queen Mother and
full voting members.
This Chapter will be limited in size to a Maximum of
30 members.
All
members will attend “Official” Chapter Events in full Regalia:
Red Hats & Purple Clothes for 50 + and
Pink Hats & Lavender for under
50. (Colors may be reversed during
birthday month.)
Potential
Members:
Those wishing to join the X-citing X-centrics must attend 3 meetings/events. At
this time a formal invitation to “Full Voting Membership” with Membership
Card may be extended.
Queen
for a Day: Each member
will be responsible for planning at least one event per year. The hostess for
the event will be the Queen of the Day. Activities may include teas, lunches,
dinners, movies, theater performances,
or anything fun and interesting. There may be more than one event per month.
Children may not
attend events. Minimum age for attendance is twenty-one. (Exception: if an event
is geared
to include young girls.)
Members
may bring guest to X-centric Events with proper R.S.V.P. to hostess.
News pertaining to this chapter or the
“Red Hat Society” will be transmitted by e-mail unless
other arrangements are made. For
this reason each member will maintain the privacy of other members by not
circulating their email addresses beyond the chapter. (e.g. Using the “BCC”
when sending round robins to large
groups of friends.)
This Chapter will collect $25.00 dues
per member annually. To be due May
1st each year.
Last
But Not Least: Each member
must be open to fun, X-centricity, new X-periences, eating chocolate now &
then, and having her picture taken at a given moment.
